The mean Mrs. Rhoden

Today one of my students told me that my class sucks. She said that I expected too much out of them and that I grade too hard. She told me to cut her some slack. Even though it hurt my feelings, I am glad that they know I expect their best...even though they won't give it to me.

If those kids think you are really mean tell them at least you don't chase them around the house like a lamp like you and karl adam did to me...

Yeah - kids are interesting that way! I should tell them about how mean you were as a roommate :) J/K

I was thinking about you this morning, because of that big wreck in florida, with the fog, and was wondering if you were impacted by that at all. Hopefully you are safe and sound :)

Love you

I think that's teenage code for "You're the only teacher who thinks I'm capable of more than I'm giving you." Or at least that's what I tell myself. Teach the people they'll become, not necessarily who they are at the moment--right? Loves. Oh, and I highly approve of the Christmas gift you got at Gap. Love it.

I thought that too back in the day you were my English teacher. I'm glad about how it turned out though as I look back on it.

I don't know if you know this, but I want to become a teacher and I think most of it has to do with you being my teacher all those years ago.
